PACKprint High-End Food Labeling Technology on Display at November Pack Expo

Food labeling technology has truly met the future with PACKprint®, the latest innovation from FASTechnology Group. This high-tech packaging solution will be on display Nov. 2 to 5 at the 2014 Pack Expo International in Chicago, Illinois. Attendees can witness PACKprint® firsthand at two exhibitor booths: the Delta Systems booth located at S-3446 and the Viking Masek Global Packaging Technology booth at S-3553.

About PACKprint®

PACKprint® meshes well with both exhibitors, as both are focused on bringing high-end solutions to the food packaging industry. PACKprint® does this by providing a serialized, scannable code for specific food items that provides a veritable DNA of the item. Food buyers scan the code and are instantly armed with pertinent information relating to the item, such as:

  • Food origination
  • Ingredient details
  • Manufacturing details
  • Customized marketing information

People buying the food items aren’t the only ones who can benefit from PACKprint® technology. The innovation makes it easy for manufacturers, distributors and brands to:

  • Trace and/or recall products
  • Provide additional product details
  • Eliminate messy and costly labels
  • Enhance shopper engagement
  • Launch highly targeted marketing campaigns

‘Buy What You Know’

With the tagline of “Buy What You Know,” PACKprint® lets companies include a variety of information into the serialized scannable code that’s useful to buyers and the company alike. Options include lot information, ingredient information, actual weights, location of warehouse, timestamp of packaging, operator detail, logistic detail, cross-merchandising and product comparisons.
